He is survived by his daughters, Kathy (Mark) Wooster of San Diego, Jean (Dr. Karl) Kawakami and Nora Kubota; five grandchildren; sister, Masayo Rachi of Japan; brother-in-law, Kyoji Uchiyama of Japan; sisters-in-law, Teruko Uchiyama of Japan, and Michiye Kubota; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in U.S. and Japan.
