Family memorial service for Ryoko Fukumoto, 96, Hawaii-born Nisei and resident of Los Angeles who passed away on Jan. 19 at the Olympia Medical Center, was held on Friday, Jan. 25, at Fukui Mortuary Chapel, with Rinban Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her children, Kiyo (Kimi), Yosh and Yukiko Fukumoto; grandchildren, Carrie (Gordon) Clark, Ty (Sandra) Fukumoto and Lauren Fukumoto; great-grandchildren, Kase Clark, Hailey and Connor Fukumoto; and many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
