Private funeral service for the late Mrs. Yurie Yamayoshi, 95-year-old, Parkdale, Ore.-born, resident of South San Gabriel, who passed away on Feb. 3, 2013, was held on Feb. 10 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” officiated by Rev. Kazuaki Nakata of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
She is survived by her husband, John Noboru Yamayoshi; daughters, Keiko Kubo and Sumiko Yamashita; also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan.
