A private funeral service for George Suguru Nakamura, 93-year-old, Brawley, CA-born Nisei, World War II veteran, who passed away on March 20, 2013 in Fullerton, was held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Sozenji Buddhist Temple.

He is survived by his children, Alice (Hank) Kadowaki, Sharon (Glenn) Sugita and Gail (Ken) Nishida; grandchildren, Staci (Garin) Yoshimura, Trisha Nishimura, and Kevin and Kayla Nishida; one great-grandson; siblings, Yutaka (Hisako) Nakamura, Fusae (Joe) Endo and Hideko Noriyuki; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the U.S. and Japan.
