TEMECULA — The L.A. Dream Band has just been added to the stellar jazz lineup for the ninth annual Temecula Wine and Music Festival on Saturday, May 4, announced producer and artist Michael Paulo. Doors open at 11 a.m.; music starts at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
“The festival features over 14 artists and groups performing a range of music styles — pop, jazz and R&B artists coupled with the spectacular atmosphere of Temecula’s Vail Lake Resort,” said Paulo. “Come enjoy world-class music and a unique wine-tasting experience from Temecula’s award-winning wineries at the Temecula Wine and Music Festival.”
Participating wineries include South Coast Winery, Lorimar, Wilson Creek, Chateau St. Michele, Francis Coppola, San Antonio, Monte de Oro, Ispiri Winery, Phoenix Hella and Canyon Crest.
“One of my biggest blessings since I moved to L.A. is the chance to play with the world’s best musicians,” Paulo continued. “I am so excited to have the L.A. Dream Band — Patrice Rushen on keyboards; Paul Jackson Jr. on guitar; Freddie Washington on bass; Michael White on drums; and Lenny Castro on percussion.
“Collectively, these award-winning artists have played on thousands of recordings, film soundtracks, TV shows, and are artists in their own right. And, to top it off, the incredible sax man Warren Hill will join the festival lineup. If you want to hear a musical experience that will be unforgettable, come out to see them play together at the festival. This is a rare opportunity to see some of the world’s finest creating music live on stage together. This is what I enjoy most about producing concerts — the opportunity to present to you moments like these.”
This year, proceeds from the festival will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest County, which serves 6- to 18-year-olds and their families by providing transportation to and from school to the clubhouse. It offers exceptional programs that teach academics, health and nutrition, sports, leadership and character.
The festival is located at Vail Lake Resort, 38000 Highway 79 South, Temecula Parkway, Temecula. Produced by apaulo productions.
