Mr. George Hideo Shimada, 93, Sacramento, Calif.-born Nisei, passed away peacefully on May 16, at St. Vincent Medical Center.
He is survived by his loving family, daughters, Millie H. (Steven Y.) Tani and Angie H. (Carlos) Altamirano Jr.; granddaughters, Ann K. Tani, Valerie and Naomi Altamirano; and brother Kenichi Kimura; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives. He is predeceased by his brother Harvey Masao Shimada.
