Funeral service for the late Ted Susumu Miyakawa, 86-year-old Nisei, Korean War veteran and long-time resident of Gardena, who passed away on May 9, 2013, will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 11 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, with Rev. Kodo Tanaka of Jodoshu North America Buddhist Missions officiating.
He is survived by his loving family: daughters, Lori Miyakawa and Dawn (Spencer) Shimizu; son, David Miyakawa; grandchildren, Jared and Lauren Shimizu; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Family is requesting casual attire.
