Private family service for the late Dr. Sanbo S. Sakaguchi, 95-year-old, California-born resident of Granada Hills, who passed away on May 24, 2013, was held on Saturday, June 1 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden.”
He had a medical practice for more than 55 years when he retired at the age of 89. He was a captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during the Korean War.
Predeceased by his wife, Kazuko Kay Sakaguchi; he is survived by his siblings, Mary Oda, M.D. and Bo T. (Ikuyo) Sakaguchi, DDS; sisters-in-law, Martha Furuta, Etsuko Fukushima, and Grace (Yutaka) Shiraishi; and survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
