HUNTINGTON BEACH — Mama’s on 39 will donate up to 30 percent of the proceeds for the entire day’s returns on Monday, July 29, to the Historic Wintersburg Preservation Fund.

Everyone eating at Mama’s on 39 that day will enjoy a great meal and help preserve Huntington Beach history. The donation only applies if restaurant-goers bring the donation flyer, which is available at City Hall and Huntington Beach libraries, and on the Historic Wintersburg Facebook page. The restaurant does not provide the flyers.

Historic Wintersburg is a century-old goldfish and flower farm including the Wintersburg Japanese Presbyterian Mission complex, founded in 1904. It is a unique, intact site representing Huntington Beach’s pioneer settlement and agricultural era. Information can be found at www.HistoricWintersburg.blogspot.com.

Come by for lunch or dinner any time between 11:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. The donation offer includes take-out orders and alcoholic beverage sales.

Mama’s on 39, located at 21022 Beach Blvd. (at Atlanta Avenue) in the Beach Promenade Shopping Center, features a variety of small plates and meals, including Killer Street Tacos, Blue Cheese Sliders, Seared Ahi Salad, and their famous Chicken ’n Waffles. For dessert, try the scoops or waffle cones of So Cal’s favorite Thrifty ice cream.

Check out more of the menu at www.Mamason39.com. The restaurant can be reached at (714) 374-1166.
