Mr. James “Jim” Jun Anzai, 81, Honolulu, Hawaii-born Sansei veteran of the U.S. Army, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2013 at his residence.
Public memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 11 a.m. at Lake Avenue Church, 393 N. Lake Ave., Pasadena, CA, with Rev. Steve Baroldy of Christ Presbyterian Church of Los Angeles officiating.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Matsue Abe; daughters, April Anzai (Hank) Parker, Candace (Matt) Winn and Bekke Abe; grandchildren, Jacob and Danielle Parker, Chloe, Mikey and Matty Winn; brother, David (Janice) Anzai; sisters, Florence Sato and Dora (Grover) Miyasato; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
