ANAHEIM — Orange County Buddhist Church presents fun-filled evening of dancing and socializing with a Hawaiian/beach theme on Saturday, Aug. 31, to raise funds for the OCBC 50th Anniversary Project Building Fund.   

The dance starts at 7:30 p.m. and goes until 11:30 p.m. at OCBC, 909 S. Dale Ave. in Anaheim.

The popular Asian American band Kokoro, featuring Lauren Kinkade Wong, Steven Santiago and Jennifer Cella, will perform soulful music for your dancing pleasure. DJ music will be provided by Willie Nagami. Line dance lessons will be given at 7:30 p.m.

Attire is aloha or casual dress optional. Flat-heel shoes only are allowed on the wood gym floor. High heels will not be allowed.

Tickets, $45 each, are available by pre-registration only with a deadline of Thursday, Aug. 22. Sponsor tables for 10 guests include appetizers and wine and are available for $1,000 (Platinum Sponsor) and $650 (Gold Sponsor).
