A funeral service for Marjorie Misato Morikawa, 92-year-old, Venice, Calif.-born Nisei, who passed away on Aug. 18, 2013 in Los Angeles, will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at 6 p.m. at West LA Buddhist Temple, 2003 Corinth Ave., LA.

She is survived by her children, Diane (Tim) Sumarnkant, Gregg and Mark (Ewa) Morikawa; grandchildren, Eric, Jason, Jaclyn, Randy, Chase, Junie, Karie; siblings, Shig (Donna) Nakagiri, Bob Nakagiri, Jane Shintani, and June (Jimmy) Akioka; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
