A memorial service for the late Nobuko “Agnes” (Fujii) Kuwahara was held on Aug. 20, 2013 at the South Bay Community Church in Torrance. At the age of 88, she passed away peacefully in Whittier, Calif. on July 30, 2013.
She is survived by her brother Mikito (Patricia) Fujii; sisters Florence Shiohama, Alice (George) Okimoto, Shirley (Jason) Endo; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her spouse Yoshio “Frank” Kuwahara; sister Nancy Hinatsu; and brother Keiji Fujii.
