Tsutomu Date passed away peacefully in his sleep Aug. 4. He is predeceased by beloved wife, Rosie; survived by his children, Madeline Woo (George,) Maryjeane, Glen, Jacquelyn Uyeji (Stan); granddaughters Shannon and Marissa. Family will have memorial service on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 11 a.m. at Pioneer Ocean View UCC 2550 Fairfield St., San Diego, 92110. Burial will take place on Sunday, Sept. 8, at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
