A funeral service for Manabu Takade, 65-year-old, Wakayama, Japan-born, Vietnam War veteran, who passed away on Aug. 23, 2013 in Torrance, will be held Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., LA with Rev. John Iwohara from Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Takade; children, Darrin, Mitchell, and Scotty Takade; siblings, Etsuo Takade and Masako (James) Ido; brother-in-law, Paul Shinto; nieces, Jamie Ann and Krystina, Ido, and Tiffany Takade; also survived by other relatives both here and in Japan.
