A memorial service for Hideyuki Takamori, 90-year-old, Honolulu, Hawaii-born Nisei, World War II veteran, who passed away on Aug. 27, 2013 in Torrance, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, with Rev. Annette Kakimoto from Gardena Valley Baptist Church officiating. Aloha attire is acceptable.

He is survived by his sons, Gilbert (Seandae) and Alvin (Debbie) Takamori; siblings, Hisako Tamiya, Roger (Florence) Takamori, and Lily Takamori, all from Hawaii; brother-in-law, Sadaichi (Hisae) Tanji from Japan; sisters-in-law, Katsuko Tanji from Japan and Mae Takamori from Maryland; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
