SAN FRANCISCO — Sake Day will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter St. in San Francisco Japantown.

Over 100 sakes will be available to taste, plus sake-centric foods by Ju-Ku Izakaya. Meet special sake brewers from Japan; test your sake senses at four “sake challenge” stations; learn more about sake from the experts; freely taste many sakes unavailable in the U.S.
There will also be live music by an Okinawan band and a live auction featuring rare sakes and exotic sake items.
Presented by True Sake, Ju-Ku and JCCCNC. Supported by Akita Sake Promotion and Export Council, Asahi Brewery (Dassai), Hosoda Brothers, JFC International, Japan Prestige Sake International, Joto Sake, Niigata Sake Selections, Nishimoto Trading Company, NA Food and Distributing Company, NA Sales Company, Ozeki Brewery, Sake Tengoku, Smart Assist, Takeda Brewery, and Vine Connections.
