Torayo Makita, 101, of Los Angeles passed away Sept. 24, 2013. Mrs. Makita is survived by her daughters Caroline Young (Frank) and Beatrice Yoshikawa (Rupert); grandchildren Greg, Lance and Michael; great-grandchildren Ashlie, Austin, Brianna, Erika and Kirstie. Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the mortuary chapel, with interment to follow in Green Hills Memorial Park.
