Results of a poll released last week place Far Bar in Little Tokyo at the top of the list of top 10 bars in Downtown Los Angeles.
The article in L.A. Weekly praised the Little Tokyo establishment for its “dynamic setting and talented bartenders,” citing its selection of more than 400 whiskeys and 37 beers on tap.
Also noted were Far Bar’s exemplary service and appetizers, such as their wasabi fries.
Co-owner Mike Gin said he was humbled to be singled out for high honors, but that he and the staff are continuing their work to make the bar even better.
“We still have a lot of work ahead of us to reach where we want to be, but it’s good to be acknowledged and know that we are on the right track,” Gin said.
