TORRANCE — The Japanese American Bar Association (JABA) hosts a legal clinic on Saturday, Oct. 19, at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 W. 182nd St., Torrance.

Registration time is between 1 and 3 p.m. Attendees with legal questions will be able to meet with volunteer attorneys for free brief consultations.

Attorneys typically have expertise in areas such as family law, immigration, consumer rights, landlord/tenant, estate planning, and contract disputes. Translators will be available to assist Japanese-speaking attendees.

This event is co-sponsored by Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, and Faith United Methodist Church, and in cooperation with the Consulate General of Japan.
