A graveside memorial service for Reiko Bowen, 82-year-old, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan-born Nisei, who passed away on Aug. 23, 2013 in Diamond Bar, will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Gate 1, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier with Bishop Taisen Miyata from Koyasan Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her children, William (Karen) Culver and Cleo Taeko Staley; stepdaughter, Deanna (Wendell) Tolman of Denver, Colo.; brothers, Kusuo Miyawaki and Tamotsu Miyawaki, the latter from Japan; sister, Hamako Yamamoto from Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
