Funeral service for the late Toshio Kato, 71-year-old, Japan-born resident of Irvine, who passed away on Oct. 19, 2013, will be held on Friday, Nov. 1, 2 p.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his wife, Yachiyo Kato; sons, Ryu (Haruna) Kato and Taiga Kato of Japan; sister, Michiko Kato.
