Vi” Violet Shiokari

Mrs. “Vi” Violet Shiokari, Los Angeles-born Sansei, resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully October 6, at her residence.
She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Patti Shiokari; son, Mark (Denise) Shiokari; grandchildren, Scott and Lauren Shiokari; brother, Jimmy (June) Saito; and brother-in-law Tom (Nobie) Shiokari.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Mrs. “Vi” Violet Shiokari to Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90013.
