A visitation for the late Mr. Akira P. Kikugawa, a 90-year-old, Redwood City, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles and former internee of Poston Relocation Camp who honorably served in the United States Army during WWII and who peacefully passed away on Jan. 20, 2014, will be held on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, 10:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA, officiated by Chaplain Isboseth Burgos, American Legion Borinquen Post 508.

Mr. Kikugawa is survived by his siblings, Yemi Kamiya, Yone Amimoto, Okuni Yamamoto, Shikako Sogabe, and Saburo Uyeda; his sisters-in-law, Yo Kikugawa, and Catherine and Toni Uyeda; nieces and nephews, Luanne, Ron (Kathy) and Randy (Chris) Kamiya, Janet (Bill) Ota, and Linda (Dean) Nobori. Also survived by many other relatives.
