The 2014 Kyokushin Karate U.S. Weight Category Karate Championships will be held on Sunday, Jan. 26, at the Aratani Theatre in Little Tokyo. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the event has drawn top fighters from all parts of the world. The tournament will consist of kumite (fighting) categorized by age, gender and weight, and kata (forms), categorized by belt rank and age. Pre-sale general admission is $20, $40 for VIP tickets.
