The Los Angeles-Nagoya Sister City Affiliation (LANSCA) invites old and new members to celebrate its 55th anniversary and the Year of the Horse at the 2014 New Year’s luncheon on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 12 noon at the Miyako Hotel, 328 E. First St. in Little Tokyo. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.

LANSCA LOGO BLACKLos Angeles and Nagoya became sister cities in 1959, the first such relationship for each city. Membership in LANSCA is open to all who are interested in meeting citizens from L.A.’s sister city in Japan.
