Private funeral services for the late Masahisa Yamamoto, 90-year-old, Esumi, Wakayama-ken-born, resident of Whittier who passed away on Feb. 1 at Keiro Nursing Home, were held on Monday, Feb. 10, officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission.
Predeceased by his son, Tatsuo Yamamoto, and daughter, Kazuko Nakayama.
He is survived by loving wife, Tsuneyo Yamamoto; son, Masaaki (Yoko) Yamamoto; daughter, Akiyo (Dr. Ken) Imoto; grandchildren, Mark (Yukiko) and Lisa Yamamoto, Eric, Dr. Bryan, Stacey Imoto, and Jessica Nakayama; sisters-in-law, Eiko Maeda and Kimiyo Maeda in Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
