Funeral services for the late Mr. William “Bill” Yoshida, an 89-year-old, Honolulu, Hawaii-born Nisei resident of Westminster and retired ironworker who passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 5, 2014, will be held on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, 1 p.m. at Wintersburg Presbyterian Church, 2000 N. Fairview St., Santa Ana, officiated by Rev. Ted Esaki. The family requests that flowers be omitted and A loha attire for the service.
Mr. Yoshida is survived by his beloved wife, Betty; son, Vernon (Rumi); daughters, Noreen (Michael) Peer and Carrie (Emil) Francisco; hanai daughter, Connie (Bobby) Kang; grandchildren, Naomi and Tami; sister, Hilda Morris of Arizona. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
