She is predeceased by her husband, Fred Matsumura, and son, Deane Matsumura, and is survived by her son, Dane (Della) Matsumura; daughter-in-law, Diana Matsumura; grandchildren, Dalyn and Lani Matsumura; siblings, Walter (Jean) Ogata and Elsie Sakai, the latter from Hawaii; brother-in-law, Chuck (Merrilyn) Matsumura; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
