An open house will be held at Keiro Retirement Home, 325 S. Boyle Ave., Los Angeles, on Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is free and open to the community. Campus tours in English and Japanese will include the koi ponds, gardens, and renovated living areas.
Cultural activity displays by the Residents’ Council will provide information about enriching classes and activities that reflect Japanese culture.
Visitors can try samples of recipes from the retirement home kitchen.
At the Kasa no Kai Tea and Coffee Shop, relax with a cup of tea or coffee and baked goods prepared by Keiro volunteers for residents every week (nominal fee required).
Meet the staff of the Health and Wellness Center and receive a free screening.
Senior management staff will be present to answer any questions about Keiro or Keiro Retirement Home.
