A memorial service for the late Emiko “Emi” Ikeda, 92-year-old longtime resident of Los Angeles who passed away on March 29, will be held on Monday, April 28, from 1 p.m. at Venice Santa Monica Free Methodist Church, 4871 Centinela Ave., Los Angeles. Additional parking is available at the Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Dr., Los Angeles.
She is survived by her loving son, Steven (Shalliah Ericksen) Ikeda; brother, Masashi (Dorothy) Miyamoto; sister-in-law, Marian Miyamoto of Arizona; niece, Kathy (Dennis) Wier of Illinois; nephew, Ricky (Donna) Miyamoto of Illinois; and also survived by other relatives.
