Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Mickey Mikiye Kawai, an 88-year-old California-born Nisei resident of Santa Ana, who passed away peacefully at her home, will be held on Saturday, April 26, 11:00 a.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, CA. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to OCBC Building-fund in memory of Mickey Kawai.
Mrs. Kawai was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sam Isami Kawai. She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Chris) Sakamoto and Sandy (James) Miyake; grandchildren, Sean and Nicole Sakamoto; sisters, Mae Aoki, Lily (Jim) Tsuruoka, June Aoki; sisters-in law, Kiwako Kawai, Fusako Kumamoto; brother-in-law, Yoshio Kawai. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
