Mickey Mikiye Kawai, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home on April 21, 2014. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Sam Isami Kawai. She is survived by her beloved children, Phyllis (Chris) Sakamoto and Sandy (James) Miyake; grandchildren, Sean Sakamoto, Nicole Sakamoto; sisters, Mae Aoki, Lily (Jim) Tsuruoka, June Aoki; sisters-in-law, Kiwako Kawai, Fusako Kawamoto; brother-in-law, Yoshio Kawai; with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, Calif. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to OCBC building in memory of Mickey Kawai.
