Funeral service for Yoshihiro Sakaguchi, 81-year-old Wakayama-ken-born resident of North Hollywood, who passed away on March 24, 2014, was held on Monday, March 31, at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” with a minister from Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Hiroyo Sakaguchi; sons, George Yukio Sakaguchi and Roy Kazushi (Bich) Sakaguchi of Oregon; daughter, Alice Hiromi (Kenny) Sakuda; grandsons, Jason and Kyle Sakuda; sisters, Keiko Higashisaka, Hiroko (Kazuyoshi) Tashiro, Kimi (Isamu) Miyai and Mie Sugiyama, all of Japan; many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
