A graveside funeral service for Toshiko Kuwata Sugioka, 83-year-old, Japan-born Issei, who passed away Feb. 27, 2014 in Gardena, will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes. The family requests that no flowers be sent.

She is predeceased by her husband, Edgar Shoichi Sugioka, and survived by her two brothers, Yasushi and Tadashi Kuwata, both of Japan; also by many nieces, nephews and other relatives both in the U.S. and Japan.
