ALAMEDA — Buddhist Temple of Alameda, 2325 Pacific Ave. in Alameda, will present its annual Obon Festival on Saturday, July 26.

Food Bazaar opens at 3:30 p.m., a bit earlier than usual. Hot dogs, hamburgers, udon and teriyaki are among the items on the menu.

Taiko drumming starts at 5:30 p.m. and Bon Odori at 7:30 p.m., a bit later than usual so that participants can enjoy the colorful lanterns.

Those who sponsored lantern tags this year can take advantage of Judy Oda’s helpful Obon Lantern Map on the Social Hall door to find their tags.
