Chiyoko Nagamatsu, the wife of the late George Shigeru Nagamatsu, was born in Berkeley, Calif. on Nov. 12, 1916. Chiyoko passed away July 25, 2014 in Los Angeles, Calif. She was preceded in death by husband George Shigeru and daughter Evelyn Ritsuko.
Chiyoko is survived by her son, Ernest Nagamatsu, and daughter-in-law, Elaine Nagamatsu. Grandsons of Chiyoko Nagamatsu: Erik Nagamatsu, Keith Komatsu (Ellen) and Kevin Komatsu (Irine).
Chiyoko Nagamatsu was a long-time Orange County resident and moved to Los Angeles in recent years.
There was no memorial service as per her wishes.
