On July 13, more than 300 members of Orange County Buddhist Church gathered to dedicate a new two-story Social Hall. The $5 million project was designed to replace the temple’s 50-year-old original social hall and includes a new multimedia center, ministerial offices, elevator, enlarged state-of-the-art kitchen, and “Go Green” water initiative. Miles & Kelley were general contractors for the project. Michael Kinoshita and Steve Prothero were the architects. Head Minister Rev. Marvin Harada officiated the dedication service.
