Private family services for the late Mrs. Aiko Miyagishima, 93-year-old, Los Angeles born and raised, Nisei resident of Mission Viejo, Calif., who passed away peacefully on Aug. 12, were held on Aug. 30 at L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Los Angeles.
She is survived by her loving family: sons, Ted (Annette) and Douglas (Elaine) Miyagishima; daughter, Jo Ann Chiho (George) Ono; grandchildren, Jan (Chuck) Alessi, Leah, Amy, Bret and Kacey Miyagishima and Jared Ono; three great-grandchildren; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
