A memorial service for Fumiko Kitagawa, 96-year-old, Monterey Park, Calif.-born Kibei-Nisei, who passed away on August 24, 2014 in Los Angeles, will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., RPV.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Kazumasa Frank, son-in-law, Robert Kato, brother, Shigeo Takigawa; and is survived by her five children, Victor (Lillian) Kitagawa, Amy Kato, Jane (Ed) Ryono, Walter (May) Kitagawa, and JoAnn (Terry) Read; brothers, Yoshio (Mieko) and Masakazu (Utako) Takigawa; sisters-in-law, Nobuko Takigawa and Eiko Kitagawa; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
