Memorial services for the late Grace Fuyu Higa, 94-year-old, Hawaii-born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on July 30, 2014, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, 3 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., L.A.
Predeceased by her husband, Soyei Higa, daughter, Jane Fukuda, and granddaughter, Lee Ann Fukuda; she is survived by her daughters, Beatrice (Sadao) Yotsukura and Sandra (Stanley, predeceased) Miyashiro; grandchildren, Darren (Winnie) and Carrie Yotsukura, Naomi Fukuda, Jason (Mari) Miyashiro, and Tiffanie (Philip) Bourassa; great-grandchildren, Fernando Aguirre III, Momoka and Kotomi Miyashiro; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.
