A funeral service for Misao Oshiro, 94-year-old Sanger, Calif.-born Nisei, and a resident of West Covina, who passed away peacefully on Sept. 11, 2014, will be held on Tuesday Sept. 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles, California.
Mrs. Oshiro was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roy T. Oshiro. She is survived by her brother, Shigeichi Shimabukuro of Los Angeles; sisters-in-law, Nancy Barrett, Marian Oshiro, Alice Kuwabara and Janet Oshiro, all of Sacramento, Calif. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.
