Graveside services for the late Aki Suyenaga, 91, a Norwalk, Calif.-born Nisei who passed away peacefully at her residence in Cerritos on Sept. 26, 2014, will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 11 a.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park Gate #10, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, with Rimban William Briones from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Sam Yutaka Suyenaga; she is survived by her sons, Dan, Chris and Gregg (Debbie) Suyenaga; daughter, Cindy (Dr. Ken) Iwaki; grandchildren, Kevin and Kyle Iwaki and Russell and Victoria Suyenaga; great-granddaughter, Lucy Suyenaga; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
