Funeral service for Dan Noboru Koda, 88, a Garden Grove-born Nisei and resident of Gardena who passed away at the Little Company of Mary on Oct. 23, will be held on Friday, Oct. 31, 3 p.m. at the Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 West 166th St., Gardena.
He is survived by his wife, Masako; son, Richard Masanobu (Carolyn); daughter, Shirley Miyuki Dohzen; grandchildren, Samantha Ayumi and Alyssa Manami Koda and Tiffany Kumi Dohzen of San Francisco and Traycie Emi Dohzen; brother, Kenji (Shinobu) Koda; sisters, Sumiye (Ted) Takeuchi, Kazuko (Robert) Yamamoto of San Mateo and Fujiko Oriba; sister-in-law, Hiroko Koda and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
