Jimmie Yokota passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his family on Oct. 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Dale; daughters, Debbie (Gary) Takashima, Stacy (Mike) Sholmire and Cindy (Michael) Matsumura; grandchildren, Ashley Sholmire, Tyler and Brandon Matsumura; siblings, Shigeo Yokota, Takeshi Yokota and Miyoko Oka; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014 at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th Street, Gardena. The family requests no flowers. Casual/aloha attire.
