Shiro Sakaji, age 100, peacefully passed away on Oct. 15, 2014, at Keiro Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 from 9 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., with minister from Zenshuji Soto a Mission officiating.
He is survived by his loving wife, Harue Sakaji; children, Jack (Junko) Sakaji, Tomoko (Tsutomu) Matsuda of Japan and Keiko (James) Hishinuma; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and also many other relatives in Japan.
