Richard L. Chinen, Tournament of Roses president, crowns 2015 Rose Queen Madison Elaine Triplett on Oct. 21. Triplett is a student at Marshall Fundamental High School in Pasadena. She and her court will preside at the 126th parade on New Year’s Day and the 101st Rose Bowl game that follows. Chinen has been a volunteer member of the Tournament of Roses Association since 1989 and was elected to the Executive Committee in 2007. Throughout his extensive Tournament career, Chinen has served on and chaired various committees, including Alumni, Float Entries, Judging and Queen & Court.
