Funeral service for Clifford Sueo Kurakazu, 77-year-old Hilo, Hawaii-born resident of Monterey Park who passed away on Dec. 20, 2014 at Garfield Medical Center, will be held on Sunday, Dec. 28, at 3 p.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis Kazue Kurakazu; daughters, Susan Masae Kurakazu-Scott, Karen Kurakazu (Bob) Onishi and Lori Michie (Todd) Yasuda; granddaughter, Madisen Emi Yasuda; grandsons, Cole Hideo Yasuda and Tyler Kenichi Onishi; sisters, Tazue Hayashi, Masayo (Albert) Abe and Fujie (Noriaki) Otani of Hawaii; many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.
