To our JA community —

As we enter this holiday season we would like to extend our heartfelt “thank you” for your support throughout the years. We are a family of entertainers and realize that “there’s no show without an audience.” You are what makes the entertainment experience complete, for without you the performance is merely a rehearsal.

It was heartwarming and gratifying to see Niseis, Sanseis and Yonseis joining together in celebration for The Great Nisei Reunion, an event that we have been wanting to do for a long time. Thanks to stalwart supporters and your amazing community enthusiasm, it was sold out — something rarely seen in our community. We are contemplating The Great Nisei Reunion II … If you want it, we’ll present it. (Although we’ll probably need more space!)

This show was in appreciation for our Nisei. Because of their hard work, discipline, integrity, loyalty and dedication we are able to walk through doors we never could have imagined.

Our family is grateful for our own Greatest Generation, the Nisei. Thank you.

Wishing you healthy and joyful holidays!

P.S. My grandson Kai attended the show … so, along with my 91-year-old dad, that makes four generations in the house!
