The Taiko Center of Los Angeles will perform at the following Oshogatsu (New Year’s) festivals on Thursday, Jan. 1:
• Mitsuwa Marketplace, 665 Paularino Ave., Costa Mesa, 10 and 10:30 a.m.
• Mitsuwa Marketplace, 21515 S. Western Ave., Torrance, 12 and 12:30 p.m.
• Weller Court, Second and San Pedro, Little Tokyo, 10:50 and 11:15 a.m.
• Japanese Village Plaza, near Central between First and Second, Little Tokyo, 12 and 12:30 p.m.
The Mitsuwa festivals will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Little Tokyo festivals will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
